As I wrote in my first blog this year (Jan 18th - a new year), 2009 will be a year of challenges. A year where we will have to focus on performance, productivity and results. I added professionalism. The last things one needs in times of difficulty are overreaction, misplaced nervousness, panic and egocentricity. Quite on the contrary: it is in those times that strong guiding principles and deeply-rooted values can pull an organisation through. Performance and professionalism, also in the sense of each individual assuming his or her part of responsibility, will go a long way!
